Nothing Left

(from Good, Smart Bear)

I don't need to be buried
To live like I were dead
Anything I ever wanted to do I keep inside my head
Don't want to make any trouble
Don't want to break the rules
Wouldn't want to be seen taking part in the ways of fools

It's safe and sound in an empty space
Don't want to see noone else's face
Don't want nobody to see me fail at anything
Yeah, yeah

Don't want to waste any money
On nothing I don't need
I spend my time denouncing the endless possibilities
I sit watching the T.V.
I've seen it all from here
But there's no time to talk about it over glasses of beer

No place to go and noone who cares
I left my family somewhere back there
Ripped out my soul and sold it all away
Hey, hey

So few words to carve upon my tombstone
Here's a man who didn't give nature the chance to chew the flesh off from his bones

Things not to do and places not to be
Nothing to lose cause nothing's left of me
So safe and happy cause nothing's left to hurt me
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
